"Stole £7000 from me and got away with it scot-free despite their supposed signed for and insured special delivery service. Disgusting customer service all round throughout the whole affair. Be warned, if anything gets stolen while in these guys hands, you will not get it back."

"Every other delivery I have leaves my parcel somewhere safe where I can get it. The sorting office 4 miles away isn't so convenient. Working nights I miss most post but happy for them to be left safely. I dont feel like things have been delivered when I have to pay bus fare to collect them"

"There are plenty of places you could choose to leave a parcel when I'm not in, on my doorstep is not an acceptable 1 especially when it's raining, although if the items were to be stolen at least they wouldn't get wet. Also I'd like to know why you think it's acceptable to leave large items that obviously won't fit through my letterbox hanging out of my letterbox after you have tried to ram them through & just leave them there. Unbelievable, but only to be expected with people these days."

"I have a small round button on my front door which when you press it, it rings and attracts my attention inside. Today I was sat 20 ft away from my front door in my front room when a post person crept up to my front door, presumably in stockinged feet and inserted a failed delivery notice through my letterbox. There was no use of the bell, no audible knocking, my car was on the drive and my ground floor window was open. What is it with Royal Mail?? Is it a deliberate policy to avoid meeting any householders at the door if they can attend and leave by stealth. There is a bus strike on at the moment and although I am a pensioner with a car there are some without who will be unable to get into town to collect the missed packet. Re-arrange the delivery they say? What is the point when you could get another postman next day who will again not knock the door audibly or sound the doorbell. God help any pensioners who are disabled and who are slow to answer the door because the Northwich postmen if they do make themselves known would have buggered off before you can answer the door!. I cannot see another company providing a worse service than the Northwich sorting office so it's time to take the contract off them."
