Make sure you have all the correct details and check via company house for addresses etc. The company I was chasing changed their address at some point without notifying, so I ended up wasting £30 and was asked to pay again to resend the initial debt letter."

"I find this works for me, usually a letter before action, I don't use this lightly only after months of chasing for a payment and I then prepare myself to go further after the letter, you will loose your customer but there is a difference between can't pay and won't pay, I wouldn't chase someone who couldn't pay.
