"I went into Pure Gold looking for a small gift to give as a wedding present. I purchased a lovely pair of earrings and they were reasonably priced. I then returned to purchase another pair of earrings and a nose ring. Rouf served me on all three occasions, he was very polite and I was very happy with the items. I will be returning again soon to purchase more gold for my niece's graduation present. Overall I do recommend you to visit the shop as my experience has been great!"

"I don’t normally leave reviews but I felt the need to warn others about this place I would leave zero stars if I could but doesn’t give me the option to do so . I was scammed out of nearly £200-300 by a woman who works there goes by the name Aisha, she over charged me but I didn’t realise until a lot later when I sat down and actually worked it all out. Please make sure whilst you’re in the shop that you work it all out and that you pay the right amount for what you’re buying don’t make the mistake that I did I trusted that these kind of people are honest but clearly not! Customer service is absolutely awful I spent close to 2K and let’s just say there was no customer service the lady who served us was quite blunt and miserable to be honest she was acting like she was doing us a favour even after spending so much money at this place I guess this should’ve rang alarm bells but sadly we still proceeded with buying gold. If you’re new to buying gold please do your research I would advise looking at reviews of jewellers before deciding where to buy your gold from there are plenty of other reputable Jewellers in Birmingham I just wish someone gave me the same advice."

"Con man! Tried to take bangles I took in for a polish only… saying they are so old the design is fading let me melt them down and make u new ones using your own gold. Dude saw £££ I told him no they are sentimental and if he could just wash/polish them My mistake I got confused for ROUF who isn’t a con man I grabbed my gold and ran for the door Made me feel so uncomfortable and unsafe with my jewellery"

"If I could give no stars I would. TERRIBLE service. Basic designs.. nothing special.. not enough variety and SO rude. Do not get this mixed up with another shop that has a similar name but far better service and designs. Staff get annoyed if you discuss options of other jewellers with family in front of them. I'm paying good money so why can't I? Learn to take things less personally as a salesperson would be my advice. The woman I was served by kept rolling her eyes and had a stinking attitude problem. I remained patient throughout all my dealings with these people and we even left having put another order in to the purchase we made that day since no other shop was open and we travelled far. Despite this the deadline for size adjustment of one simple ring was delayed twice until they had no choice but to come up with something which was far less than satisfactory, it was too sharp to even be worn."
