"My family has always purchased Indian gold from Paul jewellers, so last year I ordered a bespoke gold pendant as a present to myself for my 30th birthday, and I also wanted a gold chain to match. Upon ordering, I was given a price for each of the pendant and gold chain, however when collecting the pendant, I was informed that the gold chain I had initially picked out had been “lost”. I was then put under pressure to select a new gold chain from their collection, none of which I liked, and when asking to purchase only the pendant from them due to their error, the price of this had significantly shot up. In the end I paid £480 for a 5g 22K gold pendant which I’ve now come to learn is EXTREMELY overpriced. This was my first experience buying gold and I feel like they took advantage of this. I also had to chase them up daily for over a week when they failed to deliver on their promise of a refund, as I paid the £1,100 for the gold chain and pendant upfront (which again was extremely overpriced given the weight of the gold, their labour costs are extortionate) and I only received a £620 refund after contacting the manager of this shop by email. AVOID PAUL JEWELLERS AT ALL COSTS."

"I seen a lady with short hair who was rude in her approach. She was not very helpful or interested in giving me a breakdown of prices because she didn’t think I wanted to buy when I said I was specific about something and I was buying a gift. Her tone in voice was so rude and she refused to help me in store and over the phone when I have been unable to go into store again due to my personal reasons."
