"Under staffed, leading to very poor customer service."
"I would like to address a situation which happened on the 07.12.2022 I have arrived to the store at exact time of 17:24. After entering the store with just 1 other customer and standing in the queue for over a minute I have been informed that I in fact wont be able to collect my prescription. I do understand that the shop staff want to close the shop at a certain time, though the manners of the ladies attending me were rude and unfair to say the least. I would like to kindly inform the younger madam (which I may add was not serving me) that responding with “whatever” to a client is rude and should be used only on her private time. Even though I offered to come in earlier for the next collection and explaining that I am still within the operating hours of this business I was informed that I will not be served and that the “cut out time ” for collecting prescriptions is not a „known” for this establishment. Afterwards I had to ask to be “released” from the shop since the gate was shut during the ongoing conversation. I would like to offer a free of charge solution for the sure to this problem - hang out a piece of paper stating a time when the last client requesting a prescription will be served at the till: For example 17:15 This will improve your customer service and stop situations where a client travels 40 minutes to wait in the queue and being rudely and unfairly threaten - especially that in the end I am collecting medicine."
"I left my bag (purse, phone, money and cards etc) by the self service tills. Didn't realise til I was in another shop queuing to pay! Luckily the assistant in Boots found it and took it to lost property. All intact. Very grateful."
"We just got my husband and I the flu jab. We were disappointed to be in a small room without fresh air and after several persons caming on and out all the day long with a chimist wearing no mask even if we have got ours. Covid still here... Second concern was no desinfection of our arms before and after the vaccine. Third concern, the chemist wasn’t wearing gloves..."
"Was forced to buy a £4.50 box of masks to be able to speak to a pharmacist. This was in a time where masks were not mandatory. All the while they had a box of face masks available to give out a single use mask inside the consultation room. The decision to take me to a private consultation room was also theirs and not mine so really I wasn't expecting to have a visit or thought of taking a mask with me... I tried to speak to the manager and the pharmacist who sold it to me, only to be faced with false information about their policies and code of conduct in a very rude tone of voice in front of customers. When checked with the central customer service line, they could not confirm the policies that the pharmacist preached about. Makes you wonder if all they care about is profit... And how many innocent people they manipulate into believing them just with an authoritative tone and position. I regret going there...."
