"Excellent Vets and staff. Very friendly and welcoming. Would 100% recommend."
"Vets are professional and informative, but double check when your pet(s) have had their "free consultations" if you have the life plan. Only one of mine had the "free" consultation and when i next came in for one for a same day one, they charged me for it! Cancelled my life plan now as the benefits just aren't good enough considering how much some people probably pay for their pets. Make sure you have insurance if you go here. Receptionists aren't all bad but there's a few who are rude, judgemental and have no empathy. Honestly some shouldn't be working there."
"We have been with Calder vets for many years and they have treated both our cats. One in particular has had to have lots of treatment but she is still going strong at 15. The new purpose-build surgery is ideal. Plenty of space and separate cat and dog zones. The vets are great, as are the veterinary nurses. Plus. The reception staff who treat you very much as individuals. Last but by no means least, the team.wh9 process insurance claims are always helpful.I would have no hesitation in recommending the practice."
"Well just taken my Staffordshire bull terrier to be spayed the vet consultant where brilliant with her as my dog were so nervous as she's never been to a vet. But we wanted to pay the bill as the consultant said we could the receptionist where really arrogant and she were definitely not impressed we had brought a Staffordshire into the vet. When I said if your going to be like that il take my dog home then and go somewhere else she didn't like it at all.. there so many people are so quick to judge a Staffordshire bull terrier"
"I have been a client at this practice for 28 years and during that time, all of my dogs have always been very well cared for. I have had 11 dogs during this period with all of them needing veterinary care at some point. From the friendly, supportive receptionist to the knowledgable, caring vets and nurses, all have been exceptional even when having to deal with very upsetting issues: their care and manner towards me has always been very much appreciated. I highly recommend them."
