Fox House Pre School Nursery

"My son has attended Foxhouse nursery from 1yr to 3yrs old. The staff are always friendly and professional, he has a great time when he is there because the staff provide excellent play/learning activities. He comes home filthy from playing outdoors, messy play and just generally enjoying himself. He gets to do lots of things he doesn't at home as trying to manage the clean up on your own is tricky! They spend so much time outdoors playing and using natural resources which is fabulous. The nursery were happy to try bottle feeding him (breastfed at home) when I first returned to work and embraced our use of cloth nappies. The staff have since been so patient with my son and his potty training which has taken him a while and lots of changes of clothes!"

"My little girl attended Foxhouse nursery from being 1 and has now just finished to start school. I cannot recommended Foxhouse enough. She has been so happy and supported there. More than anything else it's the staff that make it such a special place. They are all amazing and I have never once worried leaving my daughter there, quite the opposite. She has been so happy there and I'm so glad we chose it as her nursery."

"This is an excellent nursery. All the staff are lovely and it has a very welcoming and homely feel to it while at the same time the children are having so much outdoor and messy play fun while learning. You receive lots of feedback via the parent app and Facebook site while your children are in nursery - photos and video observations as well as a little eating and nappy change report for the babies. All helps to put your mind at rest that your child is happy, safe and well looked after while you are at work. My 3 year old daughter currently attends, she has been there for just over 2 very happy years now, making the transition from baby to big room with no problems at all and lots of encouragement from staff. She has lots of friends in nursery and really looks forward to going in! My eldest daughter is now 5 and she attended this nursery for only a year before starting school as her old nursery closed. So it was a big transition period for her and the staff helped her to settle into her new nursery with ease and helped prepare her for school life really well. I also have an 8 month old baby boy and I have no hesitation at all in starting him at little foxes nursery when my maternity leave comes to an end . I know he will be well looked after, have a lovely messy play day and will probably be reluctant to come home at the end of the day like his sisters!!"

"My son has attended Foxhouse nursery for two years and will soon be accompanied by his little sister. We didn't hesitate to also enroll her here, as our son has such a fantastic time every single day. The staff are warm, welcoming and caring, the children run into nursery every morning and are upset to leave as they are having so much fun and the parents feel very involved thanks to the wonderful communication we receive from the nursery via the Parentzone app, and the PTA. We really feel like they know our child inside out and make every effort to get to know us too. Every day, there are different activities, celebrating different festivals and national days etc. and the range of things the children do is incredible. They are very hands on in arts and crafts, baking and reading, they spend lots of time outdoors, go on little day trips and through the schemes of work the staff share with us, you can see how their learning develops each term. The nursery is also very forward thinking introducing mindfulness sessions and different types of exercises for the little ones. I also can also count on my son clearing his plate at nursery, as the meals must be so delicious, I'm told he often has 2 or 3 helpings! I would wholeheartedly recommend this fabulous nursery! Its a real gem!"

"After trying another nursery and no success Fox House was recommended to me by a family member and 2 years on our little one is about to start his next adventure at school. Our experience of Fox House has been fantastic a lovely family ran nursery. The staff are amazing caring and welcoming. Our little one had the most amazing key worker who has built his confidence and helped him grow so much. We can't thank the staff enough for the support and care we have been shown over the past 2+ years. Would definitely recommend the nursery, following our experience over the past years.
