"I thought this place had gone down hill, it struck me that everywhere could do with a good clean. The last time I went in about 15 years ago, the place was lovely, superb and expensive steaks. The floorboards in the front were polished and a great feel to the place. The floorboards now look like scaffolding planks, and it could do with a lick of paint and a polish, not a damp rag over wooden tables. The leather settees hadn't been leather nourished and were worn."
