"This is the 2nd time I've eaten here and we did not leave disappointed. I came in Friday lunchtime with my friend. We both had three courses. We went for the prawn cocktail and pate. Mains were gammon and mini fish and chips. The fish was cooked to perfection and tasted delicious! Smaller portions but perfect if you're looking at the three courses for £12. The desserts finished us off perfectly. Will definitely be back!"

"Called in on a Monday night and the restaurant was very quiet. Decided to have a 3 course meal from the main menu. I ordered the pate . It came with a salad dry bread and butter . Pate was good however salad was dry . Dry bread was excellent shame the butter didn't come in a butter tub . Wrapped butter remains me of a cafe. Chicken for mains in creamy sauce with vegetables and new potatoes. The only vegetable that arrived was peas and the potatoes so a little disappointing. Cheesecake for sweet standard Cheesecake with cream . The toilet sadly was dirty and no dress mirror to check ones dress. A restaurant should really have a nice bathroom this one is very old and needs refurbishment. Overall not a bad effort just needs simple things sorted."
