Reviews
"It was a very interesting experience, due to the fact that it's very small it was quite personal and you could actually speak with the performer after the show. I would highly recommend anyone willing to attend. Please bear in mind, though, that they sell about 40 tickets, and there are only around 25-30 sitting spaces, so don't be late."
"I watched the Londinium monologue tonight, the actor and the screenwriter did an amazing job to put on a fabulous show. I enjoyed it so much! It’s one of the best shows I’ve watched!"
"Absolutely fabulous atmosphere and fine settings, such a nice and small comfy place. I watched a show called “Londium soliloquies” great plot, funny and thoughtful and performance of the actors! Have to go more often!"
"Went to see “Promethea” by Julia Smith at this amazing theatre. The play was INCREDIBLE! A perfect mix of absurdism and clarity, of humor and angst, of social commentary and the pains of everyday life - all through a feminist and queer lens. And the space of the theatre itself was very welcoming. At first, it feels like being invited into someone’s house above a noisy pub. Then, the space of the theatre itself erases the boundary between the audience and actors, making the events of the performance feel closer and more intimate. I will definitely be back for more of Julia Smith’s plays - and the theatre was lovely (^^)"
"I saw An Ideal Wife here and thought it was brilliant. Excellently written, very funny and great actors. Also, this play doubled as a community space in that it centered around the experience of queer women, and many in the audience were queer too - really great"
