"Ordered from here a few times as its really the only place in Sheffield. First experience customer service not great but as mentioned no other options so continued to order. Asked for employees recommendation, immediate response was " I dont really want to recommend anything incase you dont like it and blame me" I found that rather odd. Second visit same dry reception, no smiles, no clarity on pricing. No mention of extra cost for one of my requests Third time ordering employee forgot one of the requested items on previous order. So asked if he could add it to this order. Proceeds to tell me well its an extra £2 and yes I forgot last time but I didn't charge you. If you don't believe me check your receipt. Not looking for a freebie when I'm ordering £20+ worth of desserts but at least as a gesture of good will for the sake of £2 i would personally retain a customer. Ultimately I cancelled the order and safe to say I won't be visiting again. Doesn't matter if a business is making good money, I believe customer service should be at the forefront of any business. Furthermore, I'm a very friendly individual and love to chat to anyone I come across. My first visit here I found myself to be making conversation and lighten the mood. The young man was clearly not interested. Its not my job to give myself customer service when walking into a shop. My advice to the owners hire someone with a smile and friendlier personality. All its going to take is for someone else to open up a dessert bar with a smile behind the counter and I promise you you'll have some serious competition to deal with. Also look at my previous reviews I'm not one to ever really give a negative review . So this experience must have really been that bad to warrant me writing such a lengthy review. I pray for nothing but barakah in your business but please give your staff some proper training on how to deal with customers, yes we all get tired we all have bad days. But 3 times is not a bad day that's a characteristic."

"The M&M waffle was beautiful. There was so much to choose from on the menu and decent prices too. The only downfall is that the delivery took a while. We was waiting around two hours but I guess it might have just been really busy."

"I go to Rassams regularly for desserts but this is the final time I will be visiting the Darnall store. I have been 3 times in a row and my order is never ready on time. They regularly always get the order wrong too. I placed my order around 8:40pm and the website said the order would be ready for collection at 9pm. It was a simple order of 2 cakes with custard and 1 waffle. I was waiting in the store for around 30 minutes before finally getting my order around 9:30pm! When I got home and opened the bag i discovered they didn’t provide us with the custard. This really cheesed me off as I had been waiting around in the store for 30 minutes extra and they still messed up my order. I phoned the store and they offered me a free slice of cake next time due to the error. Usually this would be sufficient for me, however this has happened once too many times. You can keep your cake as I won’t be returning to order ever again. Rassam if you actually care about your business do something to improve it or you will continue to get unhappy customers. I am a local Sheffield lad and have been a customer of Rassams when it was a small shop in Darnall that use to sell Panini’s etc. I like supporting local businesses and have never left a negative review in my life. Unfortunately today is the day that ends as the service is totally unacceptable. An easy fix to your problem - employ more people to work in your store and also employ staff who have some customer service experience. These young lads have no idea how to offer good customer service. Your staff don’t even acknowledge customers who walk into your shop. They don’t even say I will be with your shortly or anything. I feel like a “Karen” after leaving this review but it is what it is!"

"So I placed an order foe delivery and when it come half the order wasn't there so I rang store and explained this and all I got was we sold out so how on earth are these people taking money off people and not delivering the items and then when u call there rude and don't care you writing a review and say call uber eats of u have a problem well its not uber eats company and not them taking people money and not them advertising stuff you haven't got so now my family are eating there desserts and I'm sat here with nothing thank you very much for the disgusting service you have provided"

"Ordered at 8.05pm, paid extra for express delivery via uber eats, and delivery has been changed 5X, 8.50pm, 9.15pm, 09.30pm, 9.35pm, 9.40pm.... cooked food comes quicker than 2xpre made cakes and 2x milkshakes??? How? And why? How can the prices justify the poor service"
