Reviews of Manor Veterinary Centre
"Halesowen is the emergency vets for all manor vets practices. Therefore you may have a slight wait to be seen if you have an appointment as emergencies can come in. Not a problem for me, because I know they would do the same if my pet was emergent. Staff are always really kind and considerate, and will give you advise if you ring out of hour and worried. I can't recommend them enough."
"Excellent vet and stay 1st visit for many years with our new puppy x"
"Not pleasant experience, I have been dealing with Manor Vets for over 5 years now, and with chain veterinary practice I can accept that each time my pets are seen, this is with different Veterinary Surgeon, what I cannot accept is if and when your Vet do not work with you when you try to recover money from insurance company and when they go back on what they advised you few months back. I sought an advice (from professionals as I thought at the time) and on advice received from Manor Vet I changed insurance company, assured by Manor Vet that my cat condition if it would ever re-appear (Urolithiasis - bladder stones) would be covered by new insurance company as they do not cover anything that was reported in past 24 months (condition I'm talking about Urolithiasis was last reported in 2017) to my surprise they went back on what they said and told my insurance company Urolithiasis was caused by stress related Feline idiopathic cystitis (which my cat was last seen for in 2021) I accepted that in case he would be diagnosed and treated with Cystitis this would be covered by myself no problem there as visit with treatment exceeds excess only by few £. If I would knew they would go back on their advice I wouldn't change my pet insurer as I didn't really have to I only moved insurance as it was easier for me to have all pets under one policy rather than few of them! It is interesting they advised my insurer during my claim review they diagnosed my cat with Feline idiopathic cystitis but yet the treatments(urinary blockage removal and flushing of bladder stones) and final consultation was based around explaining me what I need to do to prevent stones from re-occurring not how to reduce my cat stress. Not even mentioning that when I turned up at 8:15 in the morning and they tried to charge me for Out of Hours appointment safe to say I waited for 15min to pay only fraction of the price, worth mentioning Vet Surgeon haven't seen anyone in 15min I waited..."
"Had to take our Westie there as our vets couldn't be bothered to look at him after he was very poorly on Friday. They sorted him out and is now on the mend. Fully recommend them staff and the vet we saw couldn't do enough for us."
"I cant fault the care .yet I can fault the inconvenience as my one dog is registered in northfield. They then accepted my new dog but sent us to Harborne for his 1st set of inoculations and then sent us to halesowen for his 2nd lot. I find this completely unacceptable so therefore will be changing my vets . If I couldn't drive how am I expected to get there."
