Reviews of ODEON Surrey Quays
"If you are looking for a good quality cinema, do not come here! My friends and I came to see Avatar 2, we spent 3 hours in a cold room, having to keep our coats and scarves on. Moreover, the quality of the projection was horrible, very blurred, far from being of good quality! In addition, the "screen" was dirty, during the bright scenes we could see traces. We were in room 8. It is not acceptable to pay 11.50£ for such an experience."
"Sadly I haven’t enjoyed our last few visits but this one was the last straw. Odeon is very expensive compared to some and it use to be ok as it was a lovely cinema but now over the last few years it’s gone down hill. The toilets was disgusting, toilet roll all on the floor inside of the toilets all dirty and the smell was awful. Paid £15 for a quantum feast that comes with a massive cup only to be given a smaller cup with the drink in so not value for money. Than when we walked into the screen the chairs was disgusting and I didn’t even want to sit on them. Teenagers was running around and playing on their phones the whole time and the security guards didn’t intervene once and just the whole experience was horrible and embarrassing. I would never return again."
"Fantastic experience as usual! The Odeon Surrey Quays is set by Surrey Quays shopping centre and really great local cinema with huge screen for most films. You’ll find it clean and almost empty with plenty of spaces which can make your experience a pleasant one. They have snacks and drinks available throughout the counter, and right outside you can also find other shops available if you fancy some extra food. The location is easy to reach through Canada Water underground station, also Surrey Quays overground station, and there is also great bus links outside that can take you all over the city. I’d definitely recommend this cinema to anyone as they claim it by the picture. They do it better! and they certainly do! Thanks Odeon Team"
"Went to watch a movie last night here after many many years.. the screen was horrible and blurry, we all were trying to make out the characters as it was dark and the lens looked smudged. Sound quality was so poor, we could clearly hear the convo the front row people were having and they were whispering! Wont be returning again and dont advise others come here. Spent nearly £30 for premium seats for it to be mad uncomfortable and film barely visible. Also, the staff behind the tills need to learn how to be professional, shouting 'F*** you' to each other and laughing while serving customers aint on."
"Super uncomfortable seats,. Plus the brightness on the screen is terrible, just about make up the characters in the movie in the dark scene. Plus popcorn was soggy."
