"Warning to anyone considering becoming a ‘Friend’ of Watermans - once they have your money you’ll realise that they aren’t a friend at all, but are an enemy instead. You’ll agree to terms and conditions before you pay, then once they have your money they’ll tell you about additional terms and conditions that you weren’t aware of at the time of transaction. If you can’t agree to these additional terms then they will refuse your request for a refund. This constitutes fraud by deception and has now been reported to Trading Standards. This will now end up costing you substantially more than if you had just honoured my quite reasonable request for a refund due to the additional terms you imposed not suiting my needs."
"Really nice cinema and bar overlooking the river Thames at brentford Been coming here for many years. Good selection of drinks and Indian food. Friendly staff and a well run community feel, considering brentford has become so so upmarket. Nice to see that the locals still have a communal arts centre"
"Saw an amazing performance by the Deaf artist Chisato Minamimura. Had a super Lamb Madras at the in-house Guru Canteen washed down with a few pints of Cobra. All staff I encountered we friendly, and the venue had a really nice, relaxed vibe."
"One of the nicest community centers I have visited. This place brings together the arts through shows suitable for the whole family (we saw DoReMiKaDo and loved it), it has a bar and buffet kitchen, a gallery where many workshops happen and is located in a lovely spot by the river. We loved the snacks at reasonable prices and the little reading nook."
"Went to view a photography exhibition and saw that there’s a cafe, bar, cinema, event venue, outdoor riverside seating and lounging/reading area. An attractive and inviting venue."
