"Not helpful at all. Had to wait approximately 2 months for a dishwasher to be fixed. After I moved out they tried claiming approximately £600 from the deposit. £450 for cleaning, even though the flat was cleaned by a company that I have hired. Disputed this and got most of my deposit money back. They are really slow with everything when you're moving out, different agenct say different things."

"A nightmare to deal with. When you finally get an answer on the phones and book a viewing, you think it might be straightforward, but it gets worse. Many of the properties advertised online are already let. It's likely that properties are also being viewed before being put online, as happened to us, so if you wait til something comes online you're already late. We traveled across London on three separate occasions for three confirmed viewings, and only accessed the full property on one of these. On one occasion we entered the property, and the tenant was in the house and didn't expect us. The house was a mess, the tenant was asking what I was doing there. I was then told the agent requested access to another property and to go back to the office. When I returned to the office no agent was expecting me or knew what was going on, the receptionist called the agent responsible who then said the property they requested access for was actually not suitable for us, so I had to travel home. I was told to wait 24 hours for a response, which I never received. On another occasion I travelled across London and five minutes before the scheduled viewing I received a text saying it was cancelled because the agent had the wrong keys. This was now two "viewings" with no actual property being seen. If I was a landlord and my property was being managed by this agency I would be upset at the impression potential tenants were receiving. Luckily we had viewings at alternative agencies in the area, who had a lot to say about 1st Avenue, and got through the letting process in a breeze."

"Excellent company! Highly recommend!! I own a couple of properties in the UK it is very hard for me to manage them from oversees. Since being with 1st Avenue I haven’t had to lift a finger and they do all the work I need to do as a Landlord without me being there which makes my life so much easier!!
