Reviews of Soho Bar Liverpool
"Got told to leave because I’d ‘had enough’ even though I was perfectly fine and only had a couple, I got served everywhere else. They hadn’t even seen me at the table to know that I was even drunk so I went to the bar to prove I wasn’t with my boyfriend then they said we both were!! They just wanted to finish but they couldn’t just said that. Disgraceful service."
"Security staff tried it on with my friend (yes equity which is who you are meant to go to if you have trouble with other men inside), when complained to the so called "assistant manager" we were shortly after asked to leave because "my staff think you should leave". Abuse of power is bad enough but it's worse when manager is happy to facilitate. If you are an owner an dreading this teach your manager the customer is always right in case he hasn't heard that before. He is there to look after the customers and allowing the security to victimise customers after they came to you with their complaint against secism shows he is very aware and happy of the tricks his security gang is playing. Otherwise he would recognise conflict of interest or at least watch CCTV. Not that you need a proof before you apologise to a customer."
"Last Thursday I had an injury whilst clubbing, and sat down on one of the outside shisha tables for Soho. It must have been closed because the place was empty, but one of the bouncers looking after the tables consistently tried to remove me from the venue despite me being on the phone with 111. Luckily I managed to get a taxi with my friends and get to A&E, however it's shocking that they would treat me so poorly despite being injured, and despite me not actually blocking any tables since the outside section had no customers. I can understand peoples attitudes as to "just another drunk person getting injured", however without attempting to convince people I wasn't intoxicated to no avail, I think that a premises trying to get rid of someone with a major leg injury, just to clear one table in a literally empty venue (and the area really was empty), shows very little humanity. Outside of the injury experience, I have been to Soho before and honestly the drinks are overpriced, and the toilets are disgusting - even more so than the typical nightclub."
"Plenty of outside seats and tables. Enough inside too. Nice outside bar with a good selection of drinks on draft and bottles cocktails"
