"Very poorly maintained and terrible Corporate Landlord. The square meter price is the same as Battersea and the quality is terrible. The exterior is falling apart and the interior is the same. Broken lights, elevators always under repair, and the Landlord refuses contact with any tenants. Just overpriced cheap trash."
"The management is not doing anything, Building is nice but dirty. There is no access to management. There is a problem to car park for vulnerable peoples but no one taking serious. Telephone number is always on message that mention on card, never reply on emails like we are living here as free of cost. Shameless managment."
"This is very bad place to move in. My dishwasher has been broken down for almost 6 months. The new management (Criterion) do not care about my problem. They do not fix ıt and do not reply my emails also. My neighbours are also havıng same problems. For example, one of my friend in here had to buy his own dishwasher because the management dıdnt fıx ıt. The other one has a problem wıth his coker. His coker has not been workıng for one and half year although my frıend had reported the problem repeatedly. The new management is careless."
"Edit- I have just today received parking charges from our time at Northumberland house. Parking charges for two non- consecutive days keeping our car in the building's garage (that we paid a monthly fee for). A locked garage that we had a key fob to get into. If the new owners are reading this and are genuinely remorseful for the poor state of this building are you willing to help me with this? Please pay close attention to the negative reviews and do not take up residency here. I lived there for a year and it was a constant source of irritation and discomfort. In fact, it still is. I'm still trying to claim the last part of my deposit back from the estate agents, Acorn, 7 months after we moved out. Let's put aside the repeated and inumerable faults with the building, constantly heated water pipes, dodgy piping, constantly broken lifts, over sensitive fire alarm, cladding that the council has forced the landlord to replace, a secure garage that is in no way secure. Ignoring all that, it would have been slightly more bearable if Acorn were in anyway competent. This is the worst estate agents I've ever dealt with and I have rented numerous properties across this country. The management of the block changed three times while I was there, each person I spoke to was at best indifferent, at worst outright rude. Everything they did, they did wrong. It was staggering the levels of ineptitude to which they sunk, yet they still surprised me every time. For example, we had a major water leak because the builders hadn't hot water tested the pipes in our flat. Acorn sent a guy out but it was Sunday and he couldn't get the necessary parts and very kindly rigged up a temporary system so that we could continue to get how water as we had a young baby. He said it would have to wait until Monday and he would tell Acorn what needed to be done. I waited until midday Monday for a prompt response to this major issue. Nothing came, I rang Acorn up and they had no record of the leak, or having sent someone out to deal with it. Surely they paid this man. To cut through my grumpiness, my advice is not to live here, you will live longer, as you will be significantly less stressed."
"Building is very warm all the time, windows are only allowed to open very small amounts. Lifts are dodgy and stop working regularly. The hot water for the building has packed up 3 times in the last week. Fire alarms go off when you slightly burn toast and workmen on the scaffolding often making alot of noise and wake you up. Lifts are always broken all lifts have been out of action for 1 week now, so is hazardous if a medical team needs to evac someone Would like to note that since a takeover the company incharge of building management has got back to me despite me moving out (due to the shysters at Acorn) 2 years ago. I would recommend stripping out the lifts, hiring a full-time night and day porter. Ensure all building work is completed with new broadband, windows, fire alarms, boilers, car park and make the top area something other than tar mac. Worst place I have ever lived but convenient for the station that's a out it, not worth the extortionate costs. I hope the bar on the corner is shut now too. I have lived in many places but this was ALWAYS a problem building from beginning to end. I feel sick that it cost me so much. Honestly I wouldn't pay more than 700pcm incl bills and taxes IF all areas had been improved any higher than that (I paid several hundred more a month!) It's not worth it. I really hope that the new building management will take heed and action. Acorn were a joke near criminal company to deal with. Best of luck if you lived here (the therapy helps) and best of luck to tenants and if the place really has been upgraded then best of luck to current owners, but boy have they got their work cut out for them."
