"Went to see Kate Bush Ka, a tribute act obviously, but a great band. Never been disappointed by any band we've see at the Live Rooms. Easy access venue, Very good and helpful staff. Drinks always easy to get and either room you get good visibility of the bands, but then I'm 6'2". If you're a little shorter and stood behind me.. sorry."
"Great venue 5 mins walk from Chester Station ,ideal for last train back to Liverpool! Hi-on Maiden were excellent not a massive venue,maybe 500 capacity or more. Actually had hand pulled bitter on tap and only £4.50 a pint,think it was £4.70 for shipyard. Good sound will definitely go again. worth buying tickets in advance as it's cheaper than paying on the door!"
"Small intimate venue but don't expect clean, tidy and modern, think dated youth club and you'll not be disappointed. That being said the prices at the bar aren't youth club with a wine, Guinness and Pepsi setting you back the best part of £14 and the house white is..... Erm... Not very nice but the atmosphere is fun and relaxed and being close to the performers is unusual"
