"Beyond a joke! The door staff were extremely rude and refused me entry for no reason!"
"Great night out. Cheap drinks and good music. Could do with more tables to sit at."
"EVERYONE had to show ID going in. Sticky floors. One pound a drink. Stinky toilets. Bog roll and (I'm surmising) pee all over the bathroom floors. Good selection of music. Lots of bar staff. Lots of lairy, dancing, drunk youngsters. Sure this place is like heaven for most folk in here but if you are over the age of 25 (and getting on it!) get in, get tanked up and get out as soon as possible."
"I've really enjoyed myself on my previous visits to level, however the rude manager I encountered on my last visit has given me a very negative view of this establishment. My friend became very ill and was passed out and vomiting outside the bar. As we were all panicking, wondering if she had been spiked, he came over and told us she was wasting the paramedics time and would not be allowed in his bar again. He believed she was not really sick because she was giggling as she came to, this was from embarrassment as she is usually a responsible drinker and because we were making jokes to try to cheer her up as she was cold, scared and poorly. We were very frustrated with the managers rude comments and admittedly we did snap at him and used foul language, which we know was wrong, but in our defence we were very scared and he wasn't helping at all. We later tried to get back into the bar whilst the paramedics cared for my friend in order to tell her other friends that an ambulance was coming for her, however we were denied access by the manager because we swore at him. Whilst we knew this was wrong of us, we found this to be very childish of him and not professional at all. We apologised for what we said anyway and calmly explained the situation but he still denied us access. We enjoy visiting level very much and are loyal customers so we were shocked by how unreasonable and rude the manager was. As someone who has worked with customers in many different jobs, I am aware of how frustrating it can be when they are rude to you but you must always remain professional and never insult them the way Level's manager did to my friend, who was in the middle of a medical emergency, perhaps having been drugged in his bar. In summary, the bar is good but the management is appalling. Going Showbar next time."
