Reviews of Ravna Gora Hotel
"My daughter and enjoyed our stay here on our three day trip to London. The location is absolutely perfect. Bus is just outside the hotel and the tube just few minutes away. Furthermore it is 5-7 minute walk from Notting Hill where you will find a lot of different options to eat at. The room was tiny but for us it was enough. It was clean and we got fresh towels every day. Downside was a very soft bed and a duvet for sharing. I would not have survived staying here with my husband, but with a child it was fine. Would definitely come back here next time visiting London."
"The hotel has a great location (bus and subway just across the street) and plenty of food options as well. The bedrooms and shared bathrooms were extremely clean and towels were changed daily. The staff was also very kind and helpful (Marius welcomed us and helped us with the luggage on our way out). Would definitely come back, great value for the money."
"Great value especially for those not wanting to stay in hostels, but not trying to blow their budget on lodging. Stayed in the single occupancy room and was nervous at first, but it was a good size and had a sink. This made the shared bathroom for single occupancy rooms not a huge issue and I never was waiting for the toilet or shower. Loved the staff so friendly and helpful! The doors auto lock which is great for security, but I left my key inside once and they were able to help late at night. I didn't take advantage of the breakfast, so can't speak on that. The location is amazing! Literally have a bus stop out in front and about a 5 min walk to the nearest station. I would stay at this gorgeous place again and again!"
"I truly don’t understand what the other reviews are on about. This is one of the worst places I’ve ever stayed in. It’s like a prison cell. How on earth is this a 3 star hotel? 1 star would be an exaggeration. Disgusting grey carpet that’s coming off at the edges, equally disgusting grey curtains with holes in them, rickety metal beds, no ventilation in the rooms, a tiny bathroom shared between 4 rooms without even a mirror over the sink. Truly awful. The fact that I had to pay £200+ a night for this makes me sick to my stomach. Biggest rip off."
"Mixed feelings: very beautiful building, good location, friendly service and newly renovated rooms (with good modern choices). I wonder why they have not installed double windows (noise, insulation) or fridge in the room (cost vs. benefit surely positive?). We understood that the breakfast room was just renovated, but did not have the same classic choices of the rooms (plastic flowers at the tables etc.) However, we felt that the value of the breakfast was still good. Also, we missed eggs for breakfast (they had (cold) bacon though) and extra rubbish bin in the room (only in bath room). Overall, this was nice experience."
