"There is no zero stars for this review or for this chain of chemests. A doctor was called out to my mother who is sick with a variety of issues and covid on top of COPD and Asthma. The doctor rushed through an emergency prescription for antibiotics, steroids and a few other items. This was lunchtime on Friday the 24th of March 2023 at lunchtime. Doctor assured us they would have the emergency prescription within 20 minutes. We called just over 295 times to get the prescription delivered, as I also have Covid and cannot go and pick them up (even on a normal day they hardly ever answer and are often quite rude and/or uncaring and they hardly ever have your items in stock). Plus, my mum is 80, in a wheelchair and housebound. When calling the phone rings and rings, then hangs up. Other times it's constant engaged, other times its answered and put down. We don't know if they have closed, understaffed, overworked or just being ignorant. But as a chemist providing a life saving service, this is disgusting, dangerous and unethical. My mother is getting worse by the day. We will hold Well accountable if anything should happen to my mother, especially after losing my farther in December of 2022. I do understand there are problems with many if not all pharmacies. They are closing, short staffed, lack of medicines, and lack of funds. But people cannot be treated badly. We deserve the best care possible from our pharmacy. They need answer phones where messages can be left for the public to let us know what's going on. I will be complaining to Well's head office as well as the NHS and my solicitor if anything happens to my mum. I can't say anything about other Well pharmacies, but the Warrington one on Insell Street is just terrible."
"I understand this place is short staffed, but I've now had to wait with my poorly 5 year old son for 50 minutes for a prescription that hasn't been in stock for a second time! miscommunication between staff meant we were non the wiser until I had to ask 3 times where it was. Because the que is always out the door and staff are fumbling around for every customer things are missed. I will be changing our chemist as there is always a issue."
"The staff are rude the phone rings...then they just hang it up then it's engaged. Getting your medication is pure folly as they have 101 excuses as to why certain medications are not in. Devilery well being bed bound been waiting on medications for 4 days..soil I die its on them."
"Prescription gets sent via my doctor as normal and every week this pharmacy are taking away my medication after I had a heart attack.. They make excuses as to why its not in so they don't have to hand it to me. I have been admitted to hospital more than 3 times for keytoacidosis because when I go in for my insulin you guessed it. They haven't done it and point blank REFUSE"
"Just terrible service, over a week ago I put a prescription in and I wasn’t notified that my meds were not in stock and don’t know when they will get more after me going to them they gave me part of it so I couldn’t go to another chemist I had to ring again for them to tell me go another chemist with my details as they requested a new one from gp now been on hold to doctors as I can’t get the meds I need for long term illness the staff are rude and never seem to know what they are doing. I have now switched to another pharmacy as I have had enough and looking at other reviews lots say exactly what I’m thinking it’s not good"
