"I went to Helen not actually know what to expect or even if I was seeking the right advice. . Helen immediately put me at ease and explained what exactly the CBT therapy offered. I very quickly realised I was in exactly the right place at the right time , over a short period (5 visits.)Helen had given me the tools for me to process laterally how I was feeling and deal with those feeling /emotions/thoughts in a rational manner. It’s the behavioural part that really matters. Many things that had been locked away or I had always fought head on in a very much blinkered way we’re now being dealt with ,with much less pressure. It’s a process that each time used put me in a much better state of mind and in a stronger position to deal with the situation in a way that would be perceived as normal , which was the exact opposite of how I had been..Helen will not wave a magic wand and make everything better , just like that.
