"Amazed at the poor service in the private health sector … I had an appointment (confirmed by email) with the haematologist at the centre in Sevenoaks. I checked in and half an hour later I wondered about the delay. Nobody was wondering why I was waiting for so long … when I asked they called the doctor and she said she didn’t work on that day. She was never going to turn up. When I went downstairs to ask what happened I had the feeling both receptionists seemed to be avoiding me since they said they were busy on the phone. It’s now 10 days later and nobody has tried to contact me with an explanation, not the hospital nor the doctor... wondering if it’s worth it to pay for private insurance now."
"Booked a medical, sent multiple questionnaires including one at 5:30pm on a Sunday saying it needed to be completed “today”, only for the appointment to be cancelled the day before it was supposed to happen and the only rescheduling slots were 2 days away (too short to organise time off), or 4 weeks away."

"Wasted a week waiting only to find there's more indefinite wait for a private scan: Called last Monday for a private scan with all details emailed as requested. Waited a week without update till this monday when I called in to check but only to be told the availability of this kind of appoitment is actually very sparse and the wait is still indefinite for Sevenoaks unless I'm willing to trave to Maidstone for appointment yet another week away from now. Very disappointed with the fact that non of these details were commuinicated when I called the first time round. Understood some particular service may not always be available but at least that should have been communicated to the patient the first time they called to avoid unnecessary delay. All staff on the phone are very friendly but the organizing and communication of appointments do need some consideration and perhaps re-design to avoid letting more down."
"Terrible experience - As a private patient, I was disgusted with lack of information given about a blood test required for a scan and later being told I could not have a copy of the report for legal reasons. Very poor service and I would not recommend them."
