"Two bad experiences this year, too complicated to go into. The problem is not green flag itself, its some of the garages they use, if you only want recovery its fine, but you might as well just get £30 cover from one of the smaller companies.If you want full cover including home start i would advise going with the Rac or AA. I certainly will not be renewing."
"Not fun to deal with. Google Maps says the garage is 8.7 miles away (limit is 10). But their system says 11-12 miles. They want me to pay the excess but they can’t tell me what that would cost. Waiting for a callback with a quote. Meanwhile, it is looking less and less likely I’ll get it towed during my time slot. Petty."
"Trap + Fake promises First time I call by sadness. Absolutely awful experience. I was on nearly one and half hour on call but their was no response. After one and half hour the Gentleman pick up call and instruct me call 999. wow I am thinking, why should I take this company breakdown cover if I can call 999, JOKE. If I can do so this without breakdown cover. Everyone knows how to contact 999. And wait wait Police came and call to recovery their charges was £150. After I collect my car from recovery company's yard again they asked to pay for £150 only to send to workshop. That's nothing now I will have to pay my car repairing extra from my pocket. PLEASE DONT GET IN THEIR TRAP. They are fake, their company fake. I am changing my break down company please please don't even think to get their breakdown if you wont your loss, do it."
"For reasons known only to themselves Green Flag were unable to renew my old breakdown policy. I then went online and bought a new policy. A week later when my documents arrived they were for my old expired policy rather than the new one taken out. They blamed it on a "computer glitch" . When my documents finally arrived there was no European Cover and the premium paid was wrong. A complete shambles from start to finish. I have no confidence in this company at all."
"Very happy with your service. I'm glad I've been paying for your top level cover as it really paid off yesterday. I broke down 160 miles from home but had to finish a 12 hour shift at work before I could be rescued. You communicated very efficiently and sorted a car hire so I could get myself home. My car is now on its way to my usual garage. The whole experience has been really positive, so I can only say: Thank you!"
