Reviews of Eastbury Surgery
"Whatever happened to doctor patient relationship? I ring to make an appointment for my child, I am asked to send a photo and then I am told to get a prescription without ever having spoken a word to a doctor! I am absolutely appalled! There is a real case here for a robot replacing a gp’s job if this is what they do! And it would have saved me 35 minutes wait to speak to a receptionist!"
"There is no 0 stars ootion unfortunately.Unable to contact the surgery. They ignoring the phones. Even several times complained about the phone they dont have improvement. Hardly to get appointments. Even for head injury you will get telephone consultation from the doctors.Very rude practise manager, who does not know how talk and zero management skill"
"Having read lots of negative reviews of this GP surgery I felt I had to write a review to say that I have only ever received excellent care and attention over the last 23 years that I have been a patient. I have long term conditions and have never been refused a same day appointment for any ailment. When I do see the Dr I have never felt rushed and I have received advice and follow ups if needed. Yes sometimes I have to hold on to get answered but someone always gets back to me and you are asked how long it would take you to get to the surgery. I have two sons who have had all the usual childhood illnesses and I have always got appointments."
"This used to be a good gp surgery. Now it's all gone wrong. I'm getting fed up with all these telephone appointments. You can't explain anything properly over the phone because you are being rushed like a chicken on the conveyor belt. Also you book a phone call for one hour, but then get a call at a different hour, if you miss it nobody calls back later. And everyone already knows that contacting this surgery by phone is like contacting astronauts in space. I'd leave, but the doctors are actually fantastic, just getting to them is like crossing Sahara desert. You have to rethink these appointments and out of space call waiting times."
"Ridiculous scenario that I cannot cancel an appointment for my mother as there is a very long queue and therefore it will be a missed appointment. Worst Surgery I have ever experienced where it is over an hour or more wait to get through to reception. You are failing your patients with an extremely poor service. You need at least 1-2 receptionist as my last call was 1h 11min before I gave up , this is the norm. Do something about it as this is not acceptable as we pay for the NHS and you are letting everyone down."
