"Just wanted to share my experience with crouch oak doctors I requested an appointment at 7:45am this morning using the booking system - and was called at 8:55am I spoke to a paramedic practitioner called Paul who was amazing! He was very thorough, and I never felt pressured to hurry up with our discussion. A prescription was arranged and a referral to see a physio face to face was arranged for next week! I was very grateful for this efficient and practical service. Thank you!"
"Zero stars, to be honest, but I don't have the option to do that. This is the fifth time since I registered there that I am trying to see a doctor. Yesterday they told me to call tomorrow at 8 o'clock in the morning which I just did exactly on 8, and after waiting 20 minutes as I was the 6th in the line they told me it is full to capacity. Useless practice. Last time, through telephone, they prescribed me a cream for eczema, which was wrong, and the infection I have on my thumb spread. I just need an inhaler. One inhaler. Useless practice, do your job like the rest is."
"I been coming to this practise for many years over the time its been getting harder and harder to see GP and this is even prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. I been recently trying to see GP and everyday its a lottery checking their website at 07:45 to see if they accept requests. Something needs to change! Whether that’s expanding the practise into bigger building or getting more stuff. Simply introducing online forms and having automated message played on telephone on how the surgery is at its maximum capacity everyday is not a solution."
"I have been registered at crouch oak family practice since 1979. Throughout babies, illness and death they have been both efficient and sympathetic. The system brought in by covid for booking appointments and repeat prescriptions is a far easier and more efficient than previous, especially as the patients have grown in number considerably in recent years. Staff are polite, although in need of extra help at times. It would be nice to see the same doctor, and build up the rapport that used to exist, but i do understand this is not possible. They need out support and understanding"
"It is not the practice’s fault that it is understaffed and trying to cope with a large capacity of patients. The system in place is the very best that can be offered at this time. Like most patients, I have to fill out submission forms and wait quite a while if I call but there has not been a single time my request hasn’t been met within the time frame promised. I know sometimes mistakes are made, but that happens to all of us. The staff and very helpful and polite. And if, in the past, there have been any problems, the practice has dealt with this swiftly. I believe we all need to support each other, and having compassion and tolerance goes a long way. Thank you to all at the practice for your service. Jackie Lawrence."
