Reviews of Greenacres Animal Park
"What a great place to visit. Looks a little run down and in need of some paint,. but the animal enclosures and exhibits are well tended for. Recommended for family day out."
"Not great. As I remember it from a couple years ago, Not much has changed except the price of everything. £90 just to enter then a extra £5 a head for wrist bands to have any interaction with the animals, adults need one too just to supervise kids otherwise your kids ones are useless. It's a shame places like this are now charging as mush as large theme parks. Good for half a days visit don't think il come back though. There are plenty of other farms half the price that offer great days out. 2 stars because the staff were brilliant and very friendly otherwise would be 1. Would recommend looking about for a different farm to be honest."
"The animal park was amazing and great value for money and very thought out for little children’s entertainment and we have rebooked for Christmas because we had such a good day with lots of activities and it’s nice for the price to be included for once and not additional. The only thing I will make a point of is, the balloon lady queue was really big and instead of just making small and simple basic balloons she was doing huge big fancy things for children meaning every time we visited the queue it was around 20 minutes long. We arrived at 11am and then we left at around 2:15 but the balloon lady left at 2pm and after 10-20 minutes of waiting In the queue for the 3rd time that day after leaving because it was so busy my little boy was advised the lady In front was the last one of the day and she couldn’t just make a little simple balloon for him so I had around 15 minutes of crying continuously because he was so heartbroken everyone else was running round with a balloon and he couldn’t have one so we ended our day and left. This really made me angry and I’ve waited until I’ve calmed down to write this review as the other day I would have left 1* but we actually had a really good day if you take this out of the day. All in all we had a fantastic day but the balloon side of things is very frustrating and heartbreaking for little children and just needs to be re looked into so other families aren’t left feeling how mine did"
"Fantastic place, visit was pure chance. Lovely friendly staff, family run. Lots of animals you wouldn't expect. Feeding the baby goats was definitely a highlight. Fully recommended"
"My two grandchildren and i had a lovely day. They loved the contact with some of the animals and were fascinated by all of them. The tractor ride was brilliant and another chance to see the animals up close. They loved the play area as well. Every member of staff were pleasant and eager to speak and answer any questions. The cafe food was good and reasonably priced. I thought the admission fees were very reasonable for a lovely day out"
