"I had a great experience yesterday. I went to the A&E and was sent within 10 min to be assessed by a nurse and have an x-ray taken. I waited roughly 20 min for both things. Once diagnosed, I was sent to get a plaster, for which I had to wait 15 min. All the staff was incredible and efficient. Big shoutout to them."

"Every time I go to this hospital it's a very bad experience. I was admitted and caught the CMV virus from their inability to shield a patient or use basic hygiene and they caused induced liver and gallbladder and blood clot damage plus nerve damage and they seriously damaged my spine. They threw me out of the ambulance and made me walk with a serious spine infection and kept stopping my antibiotics after negligently sending me home with a serious spine infection. 6 weeks treatment turned into months in hospital because of their negligence and irreparable spine damage. Two drs one bone Dr and a rumo dr still haven't responded to gp for months so my spine is getting more permanent damage with trips back and forth to a&e. Pals ignore complaints. Negligent on all levels. Get left on trolleys and drs breach data pro and discuss you in front of other patients. No drs all night as we all lay on trolleys in hallways and drs rolled in at 8am all giggling and chit chatting at the nurses station. Elderly treated very poorly. It's a long list"

So, well organised from start to finish. Staff was so friendly & reassuring. Excellent facilities & a really personal service provided."

"The post code on Google for this Hospital is correct, it will take you right to the hospital. It's a decent hospital. Not particularly different from other NHS owned hospitals. Parking here is tricky. It is paid parking, the cameras catch you as you drive in, so you may likely get a parking fine sent through the mail you you don't pay for parking. Free parking: best bet is to look for free street parking around the hospital then walk few minutes to the hospital. Or you may get a free parking for a short time if you park in the Derwent centre private car park inside the hospital, although it has a barricade. But if you talk your way into it. Then you get yourself a free parking for few hours."
