Reviews of Queen Elizabeth Hospital
"If I could give 0 stars I would. I am astonished about the status of this hospital, the care and the professionalism. I have been referred to go to A&E by 111 due to abnormal bleeding and after waiting few hours, the doctor did not ask a single question, made me aware he was going on vacation in Sicily, touched my abdomen and that was it. No scans, no test, no checks, absolutely nothing. He said call the GP to move forward your scan from April (cancelled twice!) a bit forward - not sure if you achieve this he said. I have a call with the GP for this in 3 weeks time to tell what another doctor say to me (to move forward my scan). I mean, this is a joke. Is this efficient? Is this a service for people after paying for this via taxes?something must be done in this country, when I entered this hospital it was entering in a public hospital in the third word. Absolutely shocking sanitary system! An absolutely joke!"
"I had a wonderful experience giving birth in the birth centre of QE hospital. The midwives were very professional and accommodating, and I couldn’t have asked for anything better. Husband and I got to stay one night in the birth centre as I had given birth late in the night. I had been apprehensive after reading the negative reviews on Google and considered going to St. Thomas’ hospital but I’m so glad we decided on QE in the end."
"I had a Colonoscopy this morning at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Endoscopy Unit and I just wanted to put on record my thanks to everyone involved in my procedure. From the check-in at reception, the preparation, the procedure and the after care were excellent. I don't believe my treatment could have been bettered! The unit was clean and all the staff were polite and friendly. Thank you all so much for your care and for all that you do. I, and many other people, are so very grateful that you do, what you do, so well."
"My husband, Richard, had a dermatology appt at QEH this am. Arrived at 1015 seen within 15 minutes and offered removal of growth on face. Had to wait less thank 20 minutes for procedure to take place. Back home by 12noon. Grateful thanks to Dr Marie Daly and the whole team for caring, kind and professional service, Lucky to have you all. Keep safe Mary Ann Lucas"
"This hospital was probably the only happy medical place to be. In 2020 I had my first baby. One week ago I had my second baby. Both midwives that assisted me during my delivery were absolutely amazing, in 2020 Patricia Anne was incredible patient, professional and kind, this year Rebecca Jane. It's true that it was a hell of a ride each time but I am aware that I have been very lucky to have them with me as only with their knowledge and care I was able to deliver without epidural, just gas and air, without tearing, without any complications. In less than a day we have been at home, all in great physical and mental health. On this occasion I would like to thank you all the people that got involved and especially to the incredible midwives from Queen Elizabeth hospital. Thank you very much for everything! You helped me when I needed the most and you also built with me amazing memories regarding my babies birth. Always grateful! With love, admiration and appreciation! Diana"
