"I sold a house through Taylor & Emmett in Sheffield and would say that I got average service at a premium cost. This was a sale only to someone with no chain and all the way through the process I felt that they only did something when I chased them. One example is that they sat on sending out the contract pack to the buyer as they needed something from me but only told me when I rang to ask for a progress update. This was not necessarily a big issue but more the level of service that I would have expected from a cheap no frills online conveyancer and which meant I had to drive the process. Also, they requested additional documentation to be sent to them 2 days before exchange which should reasonably have been asked for at the start of the process, and which was nearly a problem as I was away on holiday the next day."
