Askin Haulage

"I have just been trying to join the M60 motorway at prestwich when this drive Reg Yo59 RZX didn't move over to let me join and then sped up multiple times when I tried to get ahead to join. I'm 21 weeks pregnant and this was extremely dangerous, forcing me to drive down the hard shoulder to join, to which he moved over to join the M62. Absolute Muppet and should not be driving, going to kill someone the way he's going on and I can see I'm not the first review for this kind of behaviour"

"This morning I was nearly forced into a crash by a driver in a Askin Haulage truck. I was forced to emergency brake with a small child in the car. It was not a dangerous situation until he intentionally tried to push me out of the road. This is obviously common given the other reviews. Nice to see one of the Askins leave such an apologetic response given the severity of the comments."

"Whilst travelling on Leeds Road towards Huddersfield 21/02/17 at 7:00 pm . The driver of an Articulated Vehicle bearing "Askin Haulage" livery deliberately sped up on my nearside as we merged lanes (near Rybrook Landrover} . The driver forced me into oncoming traffic and knew exactly what he was doing !."

"22/03/16 One of their tanker driver approached a give way in Wakefield with no sign off stopping causing me to slam my brakes on, and sound my horn in warning. For the driver to then give me hand sign abuse for his bad driving. Oh and to the driver and company. I also drive wagons so will be contacting the VOSA regarding your shocking driving standards"

"Was almost killed by a driver yesterday, was crossing at zebra crossing and there was a large amount crossing at the same time. I heard a beep and then I see a Askin Haulage branded truck approaching at ridiculous speed and was almost hit. Truck then pulled over at a bus stop just after the crossing and started hurling abuse at us like it was our fault. After threatening to call the police the truck driver left while swearing at us. The license plate was YC60 LNG and was forwarded to the police. EDIT: Police informed us that it wasn't the drivers fault because of the speed he would of been going at he wouldn’t of been able to slow down but still inexcusable language."
