"Definitely one of the best chateaubriand steaks you can find in Britain ! Cooked ideally and served with few different options of vegs. I wasn't impressed with my starter ( aubergines), tastes more like sour cabbage but their Pavlova was delicious. What surprised me it's napkins, like from the cheap fast food cafe, wouldn't expect from the place like this. Nice view of the canal if you're lucky with your table, otherwise nothing special about interior & atmosphere"

"Easy to locate Wheelchair friendly if the lift is working! Nice staff (however I believe some sort of nuts should be served while guests are waiting for their meal and or better still approach the table to ask if guests need something to munch on at a stipend while waiting) Food was delicious, I went with a recommendation from one of the servers for my main and also my drink (House specialty, Daiquiri) The house steak was super delicious I loved my potatoes as well. Overall would recommend and I would visit again."

"Our first visit here on a Sunday lunchtime but not without some hesitancy given recent poor experiences at their other branches. However we left having our best M&C experience to date. In fact, the only thing that could have been better was the temperature of the room. Our friendly and helpful waitress (Zowie?) was on the ball, and the kitchen delivered the steaks as requested. A very enjoyable meal and our new favourite. M&C."

"The room temperature always feels colder than other steakhouses which does affect my enjoyment of the meal. The waiting time to be served after we were seated was longer than expected. We ordered the 26oz Butcher's Block. It was delicious, highly recommended. The fillet steak did lack taste but all were cooked perfectly. The rump was surprisingly one of the best pieces! Overall the experience was good but there is definitely room for improvement."
