Which are now beautifully restored and enjoyed by us daily, apart from the blue rocking horse which is at Grandma's! "If I had to review Vintique in just one word it would be 'WOW' What an experience! Working with Sharon has been an absolute pleasure. When I was gifted a 50 year old chair from my Nana I knew I didn't want any old upholsterer working on it. I wanted someone who shared my values and enthusiasm. Sharon's crusade against furniture going to landfill and her ability to see the potential in even the most dilapidated furniture made me feel I had to get in touch. From the very first consultation where Sharon asked me about the use the chair would get, what the room and light would be like, I knew that working with her was going to be a wonderful investment. The process felt so smooth - Sharon sent me around 15 fabric samples to choose from. All of them matching something we'd discussed in the consultation - whether it was colour, pattern, fabric etc. When I got stuck between 2 designs I loved equally, Sharon helped me narrow it down to the final fabric. She's a wealth of knowledge and reminded me of things I hadn't considered like what fabric I wanted for the buttons and piping. She even sourced a special paint which uses a new technique to get just the right look on the tips of the legs. The chair is now the pride and joy of my living room, it feels entirely new and everyone comments on how unique it is. I would wholeheartedly recommend Vintique for any upholstery you need."
