"Stayed here on mad Friday 23rd December. Beautiful hotel and we got a free upgrade. Room was lovely, very spacious, comfy bed, warm room, coffee maker, TV etc. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice with a choice of cereals/fruit/meats/pastries or hot buffet. Fruit juices and tea or coffee. Location fantastic if you want a night out on Mathew Street. Will definitely be back"

"Excellent hotel! We got a great deal through Secret Escapes which included 2 nights in a king room, breakfast and a welcome drink. We were allocated room 300 on the third floor which was a corner room. It was spacious, well decorated & stylish with all the amenities needed for our stay. Check in/out was quick with friendly helpful staff. The breakfast was very good with a great choice of hot & cold items, definitely something to suit all tastes. The location is great only a short walking distance to the city centre, shops, bars, restaurants and sights etc. but even though the hotel is in a good location it was quiet at night. The building has been refurbished beautifully whilst still retaining the old features. A fab stay in lovely Liverpool :)"

"Beautiful hotel. Nice and clean just a few negatives. Rooms were a little dark even though all lights were on. Bath towels were not big enough. Only 2 coat hangers and no where to hang your coats."

"Great hotel. Really cool decor and things like pool table and table football. Staff couldn't be more helpful. Room was very clean, and spacious - almost too spacious - it felt a bit empty. And the shower door wasn't designed for opening when the shower is on - all the water bounces off it onto the bathroom floor!"

"We had a great stay here! The desk staff, especially Victoria, were very helpful. Breakfast was good and easy to get on the buffet. Central location near all the Beatles sites we came to see. An excellent Marriott experience."
