The Joker Boat

"I have stayed on the Joker Boat a number of times and it has always been lovely. The boat is always sparkling clean, the bedrooms look lovely and welcoming with fresh towels on the beds. Always tea an coffee on hand, a great location for the Albert Dock, Liverpool one & a great bar & grill at the top. Great communication from the owner."

"Dirty little floating caravan, nothing more, I’ve stayed in better caravans in Skeggy, not over keen on the staff, bolshy money grabbing tossers. Avoid avoid avoid."

"False Advertisement. No breakfast. No free parking. Not enough beds for the amount of people. Damp musty bedding. Washing machine full of damp towels. Couldn't get in for 3 hours due to them losing the key. Looks nothing like the pictures."

"The boat itself is great and has recently been revamped so is much nicer than the photos. Unfortunately there is a big BUT! our time was cut short as the electrics tripped almost as soon as we arrived. The toilet didn't work and we were unable to use the shower. An electrician did attend but as it was not an easy fix we had to get ready for our night out in the on site bar toilets. Still waiting 4 days later for the owner to respond! A very disappointing experience."

"£300 for 6 people , pictures looked Lovely, I booked or as a surprise for my friends ... well at least we got a surprise !!! 5 star bespoke NOT !! 2 star rust bucket YES !!! We arrived and were shown to a rusty barge, on entering the washer and dryer were on and full of clothes and sheets The beautiful purple and white bedrooms were not in evidence , I asked why not and was told they were probably In the wash !! Instead we had the thinnest cheapest quilts and quilt covers in both bedrooms The bed setter for 2 people was an absolute joke !!, we were told the bedding was underneath the couch but we eventually found it in the wardrobe... or what there was of it anyway !! 2 paper thin single quilts and flat pillows, no sheets for the bottom so u would be sleeping on top of feau leather ! As for sitting outside , a definite no no unless you want rust stains all over you. We had every heater on all night and the girls were still frozen ! Would I recommend this as a nice place to stay .. NO !! , Will I ever go back ... NO !!! Do yourselves a favour guys and avoid it !, the owners obviously don't give a monkey's about you but like ripping your hard earned money off you for sub standard accommodation . The pictures must have been when it first was bought , definitely not any more"
