Holiday Inn Express Liverpool - Royal Albert Dock, an IHG Hotel

"The location is perfect! The attitude of the employees is excellent. The room was clean and nice. Entering the hotel and getting to the rooms requires passing through several grueling fire doors. The mattresses are so soft that you fall off them, the breakfast has everything but the food is simply not tasty (and I'm not spoiled). The elevator creaks eerily"

"I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express on the 3rd weekend of January 23. The hotel has an absolutely fantastic location right on , bang centre Albert Dock. I believe all rooms have a water view whether it's dock side or looking out unto the Mersey. This is an express hotel therefore you'd expect the basics, not the case, the rooms have a good sized bathroom, TV, tea making facilities, iron & board ,hairdryer ,cleaned daily and are very cosy. The breakfast is buffet style with all the usual you'd require for a hot or cold selection. Reception is on the 2nd floor which incorporates a small bar and seated area were breakfast is located. I'm not sure if other meals are available during the day. Staff are friendly and welcoming. All in all 5 stars for an Express hotel."

"We stayed here for a mini break. The location is fantastic. Views all round. We had a very comfortable and spacious room with a huge window looking out over the Docks. Very quiet at night. Breakfast was quite decent with lots of food choices and they supplied GF options for us. The staff are fantastic. So so friendly and helpful. They were very busy, think most rooms were booked, but each and every member we spoke to had time to talk and help us. This was my first visit to Liverpool, and it is a wonderful city, the staff at this hotel are a credit to it. A real bargain price for such a prime location."

"1 night stay with my daughter. Location on point, room views on point, comfy beds and pillow on point, shower on point, service on point, one big no no was breakfast. Hot buffet food was luke warm at best, bacon like cardboard, and queue for the 1 toast machine long. Continental food was scarce, maybe us dining at 9.10 am is considered late? Would stay again but without the breakfast option."

"I stayed for business so can't review on value for money but my room was great, very clean and spacious. The bed was super comfy, shower was spacious, I had coffee facilities in the room. The breakfast was good and staff were professional. I had a good view of the Mersey from my window. The room was a little dark, even with all of the lamps on."
