"Wonderfully placed less than 2 miles from the 2023 English National Cross Country me and my partner found this wonderful place to collapse. We could relax and sleep in what look like very newly decorated rooms. Dinner in the pub downstairs was GREAT, thoroughly recommend the falafel burger and cheesecake! But what made that was the service, personal and friendly. Basically just what we wanted and an amazing price for all this, i mean i think that is proven by the tip that i very happily added to the bill. thank you all for a lovely stay."
"Very good experience recently for a group of 8 of us. We'd come off the golf course earlier then expected and they managed to accommodate us earlier then the booked time. Excellent food and draught ale. Very attentive staff."
"A first time spur of the moment find on our way home. Staff were so lovely and great with my granddaughter. They have a table with a selection of games and activities to enjoy while dining or drinking. Food was exceptional (children's portion was huge) and very reasonably priced. Will definitely go out of our way to visit again. Thank you"
"First time visit en route home from Chester Zoo. Ordered 3x Sunday lunches which were excellent. Beef was cooked to perfecton, not overly salty, and accompanying veg also cooked well. Staff very polite and helpful. Gave explanation of why our meal was delayed (which wasn't that long, to be fair) and gave various options to make up for the delay. Would recommend, and visit again when in the area. Thank you to all."
