Reviews of Embassy of Ukraine
"Very disappointing, in time of war friendly nations have opened their doors and borders to Ukraine and made it easier for Ukrainian people of all ages to cross their borders into friendly countries. But the same rule is not applied here at this embassy. Even if you have all previous family visa stamps in your passport and all documents to prove that you are a parent, there is no leniency or compassion to help a family member enter to help their family. A person could examine your passport and family evidence and grant the same visa! But no! You must supply every document! Every bank statement! Every letter of invitation! Every copy of proof of accommodation! All documents that you would supply under normal peaceful conditions! The security guard who opened the door was friendly, but the “gentleman” at the counter was rude and unfriendly and shouting. Not Nice!!"
"under the circumstance I can appreciate they are busy , i have emailed them twice about joining the foreign legion and nothing and that was when the conflict came to light , i have tried i don't know how many I've tried phoning , people are offering their help , i thought dealing with Mercedes was bad , i shall try again this coming week , please god someone answer either my email or phone call"
"Beautiful street, love those white buildings"
"I applied for a tourist visa for Ukraine at the London embassy and the staff were very efficient and friendly. I was out within 15 minutes including the waiting time. My name was called to submit the application exactly at the time of my appointment. I received the visa 2 weeks later and the collection process was also very easy and I picked up my passport within 5 minutes. Ukraine is a beautiful country! If you need a visa to travel there and you're thinking of applying, go ahead! It was a great experience for me :) P.S: Some of the reviews below mentioned that you have to pay for every paper. I showed up without a photocopy of my passport and BRP which was clearly stated as required documents on the Embassy website, but the only fee I paid was the cost of the visa (which to be honest, is quite high). The official who handled my application didn't have any problem taking a copy of it at the Embassy. He didn't even complain about it! Some of the staff (security) did not speak English. But he immediately asked for help from a senior staff and I did not find this to be a problem at all!"
"This place greatly shows the decay of Ukrainian bureaucracy, and accumulates all the worst that Ukraine has. You will be waiting in lines for over 4 hours. You will not be given any clear information. The personnel there does not speak English. You will be made to feel miserable and worthless. The will not have a template for the document that you require, and you will need to find it yourself. Once you have done it - you will be charged £49 for it. And extra money for verifying the signature - £39. After this the document will still be useless."
