"The process is unnecessarily complex for a Chinese visa. The Rapid Visa side of things is quite streamlined BUT the information and choices one is presented with on the website (length of Visa etc, doesn't add up to the tick-box options on the embassy visa form). Only by phoning to find out did I discover that the Chinese embassy are giving out 2yr, multiple entry visas as matter of course, even if you only apply for a 6-month single-entry, for example. This isn't mentioned on the website so I thought I massively over-paid and was going to be issued a visa I didn't require at greater cost. The personnel on the phone are friendly enough but the website needs some more info to lay out these discrepancies more clearly. They also don't make it clear that Chinese visas are processed in Manchester, so having dropped my passport off in London to expedite the process, I then had to collect it all to send to Manchester. Very complex."

"Rapid Visa were very quick at getting Saudi business visas for myself and a colleague. When you have a tight turnaround it is worth the cost as the company was very efficient and attentive to details and kept me updated. They also did the document validation services with the chamber of commerce, which is too complex to do yourself. For the sake of not getting the application wrong for a complex visa regime like Saudi Arabia, it is worth using their services. They also have a central London office so it is convenient for dropping the passports off as I did not want to put them in the post. Highly recommended"

"So far, great. Prompt, clear, thorough, courteous, helpful. I can't imagine what happened with the gentlemen who described them as the worst company ever, but that has not been my experience. In a sense, all these visa and passport services are selling services that one could do for oneself (if one had the time and confidence), but I don't begrudge them their money. I have very poor eyesight. Reading reams of instructions is pure hell. I asked for some additional help and they were able to offer it. Tip Top, in my view."
