"Despite having booked a taxi for the following day to coincide with an 08.30 train, the taxi failed to turn up. The dispatcher was aware of the booking but couldn’t contact the driver as it ‘wasn’t one of his!’ All he could say was it was the fault of the dispatcher who took the booking the previous day ! I wound up having to drive to the station in a panic and pay the charges."
