Reviews of Handsworth Grange Community Sports College
"Absolutely rubbish dose not do anything about bullying.. Some teachers. It should not be outstanding ."
"This school is going downhill it isn’t an outstanding school anymore not letting students have mobile phones. And going to the toilet. mr Parker needs to be better and think about what he’s doing but just to say there is going to be more physical fights in school I can tell you that!"
"This school is going massively down hill. Some of the rules in my opinion are pathetic, banning mobile phones, not letting students going to the toilet. Mobile phones are a big part of life now. We're not in 1963 anymore, we're 2022. Imagine how socially awkward that's going to be for students, there just going to be stood there looking like robots. Instead of banning them, why don't you restrict certain apps, and just leave the main apps like WhatsApp and Messages because that way people aren't going to be displaying anti social behaviour or anything that's inappropriate. They suggest going to the receptionists. No because everybody that way will be going to reception for messages and it will be crowded and nobody will be able to contact anybody because of the crowds. Also this is a complete different situation but personally i think they should invest on Air Conditioning. Especially in the English and Science rooms."
"Most teachers are nice and friendly and stuff, a few problems though... Y10 and Y11 students have to walk around the BACK of the school instead of the front (not due to covid-19 anymore) and it takes up a lot of time and is hard to cross the road as it is very busy. Another problem is Y9 and Y11 students have their lunchtimes at different times to other year groups (meaning the bell can go off randomly in your lesson even though its not for you) and sometimes when in lesson students mess about when students are trying to learn when others are at lunch. When Y10 and Y11 students come out of the school at the end of the day most students walk TO THE FRONT of the school which takes a long time to do so and when you get picked up in a car by the time it takes you to get to the front there is loads of cars and traffic there meaning nobody can get anywhere, but a positive note on this is that teachers DO help students out cross the roads in the mornings and after school. Overall though the teachers are nice and very understanding and nice people to talk to and the food there that they serve is also nice. Thanks for reading this review."
"First day of children in school after so long time. Please Allah keep them safe. Thanks"
