"I can not fault star cabs, I use them through hospital transport. The drivers are always so so lovely, caring, compassionate, chatty, friendly. Yes sometimes there's a wait but really what is to expect!? I understand 100% but I've never had to wait too long so I am grateful. Thank you all for the service I feel so so lucky to be able to get hospital transport going from Coventry to the QEbham and back. Lots of love!"

"REVIEW UPDATE - scroll down. Booked this company as it's local to me and I like to support local businesses. Journey into Birmingham was fine - nice, friendly driver (Paulos) HOWEVER - booking a journey home was a different matter. The app said pick up time was 11:17 - it was already that, so I assumed the cab was close by when booked, and was waiting for me, opposite Snow Hill station as requested. 40 minutes later, still waiting, shivering with the cold, I cancelled the cab. Frustrated that I couldn't get through to Star Cars directly - just an irritating voice message that said my cab was 10 minutes away. Clearly an automated message that never changes. Tracking facility on the app is useless. Eventually used Uber - it took them 3 minutes. If I could give this review 0 stars, I would. Review Update: Martin Walker of Star Cars has responded and, to be fair, explained the situation. I think it’s good that, when things go wrong, the company takes the time to respond and try and repair the damage done by renegade taxi drivers. So my review has been revised and I look forward to using this company again. Everyone needs a second chance!"

"I 'phoned Star cars @ 03.45 this morning to book ask for a quote to B, ham airport, the price was acceptable so I proceeded to book the taxi. The male operator told me the car would "arrive a.s.a.p." I asked if he could let me know how long it would be , to which he replied very rudely that "I should not shout at him" I told him.very calmly that I was simply asking for a E.T.A. so that we would all could be ready to go. He continued to be rude & tell me I was shouting at him, at this point I decided to end the call & we booked with Uber . We have used Star cars for many years but no more, if this is how they conduct their business. I 'phoned the office this morning to speak to a manager & was told very curtly that there was not one in & she didn't know when one would be in, is this really a way to run a business??"

"I would leave 0 stars but you have to leave 1 to be able to write a review, really wasn’t happy with this taxi service and don’t recommend to anyone! Not reliable! We had a taxi booked for 11pm pick up for 8 people and first of we was told we had a 20 min wait and then they rang saying there was no drivers and they wasn’t coming, ended up getting Uber and they was so much better! Then the same taxi company who we had booked to pick us up at 4am turned up at 1am saying they was outside and if we wanted a taxi we’d have to leave now, we couldn’t which meant later in the night we was all stranded. Won’t be using again!"

"I can't understand all the negative reviews. We have used this firm for years because we trust them. Cars turn up on time. I like getting a text to confirm a car is booked and then another text when car is on way. The drivers are smart and cheerful. People handling phone calls are helpful. Had an issue recently which was dealt with efficiently by Gary. Great customer service. Wouldn't use any other firm."
