Reviews of Lock'd Escape Rooms London
"Friendly staff and good facilities. Good use of technology in the escape room and I liked the mix of skills and logic involved. Some escape rooms watch for you to complete certain activities on the cameras before remotely activating the next stage, but this is NOT like that. which is great. It means that the rooms are self contained and fully immersive. They use an hour glass to show how much time you have taken and therefore how much time you have left - this is not as clear as an electronic countdown timer, but it didn't really detract from the overall experience."
"Our team really enjoyed our time trying to escape Grandpa's Last Will. We just about managed it with a couple of minutes to spare! This was only my second escape room and I think I had much more fun than last time. Of course I can't reveal anything but there were a couple of real curve balls that I didn't expect. The staff looked after us really well, and gave us all the info we needed to enjoy ourselves. We got a bottle of water if we wanted which was a real bonus for me. The place is a short walk from Bermondsey tube station so it's not hard to get to either. All in all that was excellent!"
"Yeah! Science themed hour of fun... reminded me slightly of the vintage Crystal maze... not to ruin it for everyone... but we escaped with 2 minutes to spare... Having done a couple of these before... i can say - this was was probably the best one I'd done... highly recommend!"
"For the first time doing an escape room, this was the perfect introduction. The staff, Linda and Mara, were friendly, welcoming and really helpful and really got us into the spirit of the game and immersion. The puzzles were fantastic and honestly it was such a laugh, never seen my friends turn into super sleuths so quickly! Would come back in a heartbeat for the clever and well put together puzzles and rooms and the lovely staff. Well worth it if you've got a spare afternoon!"
"Went to the science-themed room with 4 friends for my birthday. We all enjoyed it but it is one of the easier and lower budget escape rooms that we've done (we got out in 45 minutes and we aren't the brightest). We mentioned this when we left and were told that we had "skipped" a big section of the puzzle which we thought wasn't great as they should surely be set up so you can't skip bits. Despite this, the final section of the room is really clever and was fun to solve. This one might be better for families with kids."
