"My son went there as a 4 year old and, despite an 8 month blip due to personal circumstances, he still goes now, as a Taekwondo Master. If you are the kind of person who spoils and molly coddles their child, this is probably not the club for you. They are focused, developing young people into stronger, more confident versions of themselves, that process can, at times, be painful and I've seen a number of parents struggle as their child is working on the next barrier... Some fall out with the club, some get out of the way and let their child grow! It's combat sport, there will be bruising, there will be repetition, there will be learning and growth, tears and personal triumph. Whilst the club does produce champions, the greatest triumphs are those of personal growth, seeing young people move forwards, discovering new talents and hidden reserves they never knew they had, gifts that will serve them for life in the wider world. It's a long road to black belt, for my boy that's not the end, he wants to keep going, progressing and growing and we proudly support him.
