"DON’T DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE My experience with the Alexandra Suite was a very bad experience! I am writing to express my frustration with the Alexandra suite venue. My partner and I were introduced to this venue during the wedding opening day at Bluewater and were impressed with what we heard from Suzanne about the venue's capabilities. We decided to visit the venue on January 12th, 2023, and were pleased with what we saw and heard from Suzanne about its ability to accommodate 150 people with a dance floor, use round tables, place the top table on the stage, bring our own food, and have our own DJ alongside the one provided. We paid our deposit on February 2nd and returned to the Alexandra suite on February 27th with my decor specialist. However, the visit was quite embarrassing as we discovered that what we were told on January 12th was not entirely accurate. Kerry informed us that the venue could not hold 12 tables in the space and that it had not been done before. There was not enough space for an aisle down the middle, and a dance floor could not fit with the tables without moving them. Additionally, we were shown oval tables instead of round tables, and the table linen cloth shown was a 90x90, which did not look good on oval tables. The inconsistencies between what we were promised in January and what we were told in February have caused us a great deal of stress and embarrassment. We were essentially informed that we couldn't do what we were initially told we could do after paying the deposit. Since then they are saying as per the terms and conditions the deposit is non refundable, even though they are breaching the contract as per the Consumer Protection Act 1984 for misleading us. I’m surprised by the unprofessionalism and I am in the process of speaking to solicitors, DO NOT GO AHEAD WITH THEM UNTIL YOU HAVE EVERYTHING CLEAR IN WRITING!"
"Went there for a Christmas fund for Swanley ruby club, it was clean fresh. Good parking no issues. Nice drinks served behind bar good selection. Bar staff friendly."

"Great place, does events, event hire, pantomimes and charity events. Has a bar and backs onto the rec but has its own separate outdoor area. Reasonable prices. They cater to your needs if hiring the hall and they really do make it look pretty."
