Reviews of Greenwich Theatre
"Lovely little theatre, have been a few times for various shows and this was my first pantomime there. It was very good, prices are very reasonable. I came with my granddaughter and throughly enjoyed Robin Hood. Brilliant performances, great singing and fab humour for all ages. Totally recommend"
"We had great time here watching the Christmas production - Robin Hood this year. The slow motion part was pretty funny! A lot of interactions with the audience and a cool band for the very expressive live music! The staffs at the theatre are pretty friendly too."
"A cold evening with snow on the ground was a fitting backdrop for the annual performance of A CHRISTMAS CAROL at Greenwich Theatre on Monday 12th December. My wife and I enjoy this one man production with the talented John O'Connor as Charles Dickens telling the story and have seen it a good few years now as a beginning to our Christmas festivities and we absolutely love it. Heating needs to be sorted in the Theatre itself though as it's freezing and takes away from the experience!!"
"Me and my wife went yesterday to see "Are you as nervous as I'm?". Production is really great, certainly comparable to a West End play. However, the real stars are the member of staff for an excellent service! Highly recommended and we will be back."
"Everything about my visit to Greenwich Theatre this week was good. And not just the show (which, incidentally, was superb.) It's a lovely theatre with a good view pretty well wherever you are seated as far as I could tell. The seats had good leg space (I had hoped for an aisle seat, but didn't get one. However, I did not feel at all uncomfortable throughout the show.) No technical glitches in the show where everything could be heard and lighting was certainly not old-fashioned. I didn't see any wheelchairs so cannot comment on accessibility. There seemed to be a lot of stairs and narrow doors. I am sure there is provision but this would need to be checked in advance. The staff were all friendly, helpful and welcoming. A nice bar (although a little expensive - £6 for Pint of beer, £3 for a packet of wine gums) and very clean toilets all made it a thoroughly enjoyable theatre trip."
