They have a nice bar space and plenty of seating (praise BE!!!) so you have a comfy spot to chill before the show and it's never too loud or blaring obnoxious music. Just a really nice atmosphere. "I’ve been to Brixton House a few times over the past few months to drumming workshops & most recently to try out the community choir. On every occasion the front of house staff have been so friendly, welcoming & helpful. Box office personnel also efficient & polite over the phone. The programme of events & activities is varied & I find it to be a very accessible & inclusive space to explore creativity. The drumming was fun & tailored to the group & the choir leaders were professional yet encouraging & approachable & made the session really enjoyable. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!"
"Lovely new theatre in Brixton, Alice in Wonderland was one of the best things I've seen in a long time, kept the family aged 7-70 amused. The venue is nice, seats not horribly uncomfortable but as someone who is 6'1 the legroom was just tolerable. The pink staircase was aesthetically pleasing but at a dangerous head height! Will definitely be back to see more shows in the future."
