Reviews of Eventim Apollo
"A great venue in a good location. Easy to get to by train and plenty of hotels local. The queue to get in moved quickly and all the staff were very friendly. Food and drinks here are expensive but as expected. Toilets were clean but the roof of which was very low meaning I had to duck while going. The seats were comfortable with enough space for long legs. No drinks holders on the are rests which is a shame however. We visited to see the comedian Jim Gaffigan, he was fantastic. Would recommend a visit."
"Queen Machine Symphonic were amazing! Completely blown away! Also the venue was fantastic, great seats, massive venue, easy to access and lots of support staff available my old neighbour came here in the 70s to see Thin Lizzy. I would come here again."
"It was a nice venue but seriously too many people in such an enclosed space, don't even think about trying to get served at a bar until the show starts! Prices are above average! I bought a Jack Daniels n coke and a bottle of water and it was £10.40! Thankfully card only payments. Staff were friendly and pretty helpful but venue was incredibly hot! Would go again tho, just be better prepared with a water bottle and a fan! Show was incredible! Sister Act!"
"Now… the show was good. However, for this event I couldn’t give all 5 stars as the staff were not well versed in what to do and how to manage the crowd nor their tickets. It was an utter shambles at the door to be honest. Toilets were very clean which is always great and the bar/lounge area is pretty decent too, had the entrance to the show not been such a debacle, this would have got too ratings, but I’m not 100% sure that this isn’t they way their stewards always contact themselves. That part was a poor show indeed."
"Fabulous Art Deco venue. Lots of staff and super large bar area. Even if you are standing go to the bar area on floor 1 it's much bigger with some seating. There are load of toilets too. There were no queues even for the Ladies! Auditorium fantastic and theater style seating. It's clean with not sticky flooring. The security sweep on entry was quick and unobtrusive by very helpful and friendly staff. I would highly recommend."
