"Visited the Let us Glow lights! Just beautiful. A few stalls selling mulled wine and food and of course the gift shop was open too."
"Visited Wisley to attend Glow for the first time with a few friends. I’d heard reasonably good things, and as two of the group were members, we all benefitted from discounted tickets which made it a no brainer. Whilst an enjoyable evening, the trail itself is very short with a few interesting installations connected by dim pathways with nothing much to focus on. Don’t get me wrong, the ones that were good - the projections and flame and fountain show - were great, but everything around it was lacklustre. You can easily get through the whole trail in just under an hour at a comfortable pace, 1.5 hours if you stop to take the perfect photos of everything and everyone in your party. There’s also a very simple selection of catering options in a Christmas market style, that are neither here nor there. This all ties into the other big drawback; the price. At just under £20 per adult, it’s expensive. Especially considering what you get and that for an extra £9ish and 30 minutes up the road you can visit Christmas at Kew, a vastly superior 2.6km trail with vintage funfair, on-site restaurants and Christmas chalets dotted throughout the trail. Glow, to me, is seriously overpriced for non-members, with our members price bringing it down to £10ish - a much fairer deal. So, is it worth visiting? If you’re a member, absolutely. You can’t doubt the experience for a tenner. Non-members? Probably not, especially if you’re bringing a family. The cost racks up quickly and you don’t get a lot for your money."
"Had a wonderful trip to Wisley with beautiful autumnal weather. Straight forward drive along M25 with plenty of directions once get closer to location. Multiple carparks for overflow. Lovely cafes and facilities. Stunning views and abundant flora/fauna."
"You have to spend at least the day to get value for your money and to see everything there is to see. Put comfortable shoes on as there is a lot of walking. Lovely garden center outside the entrance gates."
