Reviews of Kidabulous
"I went there with my 3 yrs old daughter and my husband, to explore the toddlers area. The area was clean and comfortable and I really like the fact that it was safe to use, as children were in their toddler play area with a secured gate. My daughter had so much fun, with pretend play kitchen, climbing, slide, car wash going around in her little car, building a house, and thousand of balls. I found a bit odd that parents are paying too to get in, though. Parking was okay. Overall was a nice family afternoon!"
"The staffs were friendly and welcoming. The kids really enjoyed it especially because there wasn't a time restriction to their stay. You have to come with your own sock else you wouldn't be permitted into the soft play area both adult and kids, although you can buy socks on site for about £1.75 at the time of our visit. Also I would advise to come with some change as the bumper cars and few other games requires paying into the machine."
"This place is fantastic, you get the feeling that it's one big family run thing, very welcoming. The facilities are nothing short of excellent. The food and drinks available are also very good quality. Would highly recommend."
"It gets 2 stars mainly because it’s local so it’s therefore handy, but it’s not without its downsides/faults. We visited on a Sunday, around mid-day where parking is pretty much non-existent. I don’t mind a bit of a walk that’s fine but not so keen when there’s no pavement and it’s raining. It was very busy, which is fine to a degree as it adds to the chaotic atmosphere for the kids but there was no where for the adults to sit because all tables and chairs were taken. It’s expensive. For us (two adults with a 3yr old it was about £17..!! Limited for 2hrs. That’s wayyyyyy too much. We recently visited the soft play at Southend Pier which is much bigger and it was only £5.95! No charge for adults as we’re also buying food and drinks!!! Incidentally the rule about NO food and drink to be brought in is not acceptable when paying such a high entry fee. I’m not saying it’s unsafe by any means however you can feel the structure wobbling around a fair bit when you’re on it which doesn’t install confidence. Maybe it needs looking at. The young lady on the reception was rushed off her feet the whole time we were there, she clearly needed help, although when my partner purchased drinks from the cafe she had a long wait and was told they were 3 staff down. I needed to change my son’s nappy, the woman on reception was very busy to ask if there were any specific changing rooms but the only place I could find was in the disabled toilet. As we entered my 3yr old commented on how dirty it was!!! Which it was in a poor state with toilet paper and urine on the floor, along with various used wet wipes about the place…ewww. Overall not a great experience."
"Great soft play for the children, has an upstairs area for toddlers with several different sections for them (play kitchen area, soft foam mats, slide, baby swing and more) with downstairs being the larger climbing for the older children. Does get very busy during peak times so would advise going earlier if possible. The reason for 4 stars is the food wasn't that great, but that could have been because they where really busy. The staff are really friendly."
